My vision - More than just jewelry
I believe that the things we surround ourselves with are more than just beautiful objects – they reflect who we are, what is important to us, and how we perceive the world. About me - My creative journey
I'm Johanna, 23 years old, and the founder of Kunst& Munter. Creativity has always been more than just a hobby for me – it's a way of life.
It's a way to discover the world, capture impressions, and express feelings. I'm fascinated by how something tangible emerges from a vague idea in my head—something that not only looks beautiful but also touches the heart.
Even as a child, I loved creating art with my hands. At the age of 10, I sold my first pieces at a hobby artists' market – the first step into a world where I could share my passion with others. Since then, my love of design has never left me. Over the years, I've explored many art forms, but jewelry design is where I've found my creative home. Here, my love for fine details, natural materials, and meticulous craftsmanship converge. Every design begins with an idea, an inspiration – often from nature, my travels, or special encounters.
Since mid-2024, I've had my own little studio – a space brimming with creativity where my ideas come to life. This studio means freedom to me – the freedom to design, to experiment, and to pursue my passion day after day (and not have to clean up afterwards every time :D).
Materials & Inspiration - Unique treasures from around the world
My greatest inspiration is nature, with all its facets and the experiences I've had the privilege of gathering on my travels. I've discovered many beads and pendants in small markets in the most diverse corners of the world. Some treasures, like operculis or shells, I've collected myself on beaches around the globe. Each piece tells a story – of sunny days, exciting adventures, and the boundless beauty of our planet.
